The modeling
brush we use is of medium size, big enough to function
as a reservoir for water in order to maintain a constant
degree of humidity while modelling. It is made of
selected, pure hair of a marten's fur, thus it has
great density and a very sharp point similar to that
of a stinger. Using the same brush we can, for purposes
of rapid modeling, remove surplus ceramic material
and wipe it off on a paper napkin, as well as form
even the most difficult incisal edges incrementally,
thanks to is flame shape. Whit its very sharp point
we can recontour the occlusal fissures for the second
firing. The high-quality marten's hair provides the
brush with a variable geometry so we can exclusively
use only this one modelling brush.
